Yep, my very first drum cover is Blackest Eyes, a song from the band Porcupine Tree. I learned the note for note part of their drummers on this song : Gavin Harrisson who’s a giant drummer!!!
At the time I was also recording with only two mics, on for the bass drum (shure beta52) and one overhead (AudioTechnica AT2020).
